Insideout Clothing

Thanks to everyone who visited us in-store and helped celebrate our 5th birthday. Thursday we gave prizes away to every shopper that ranged from store vouchers to socks, and lots of Zarzoot watches. On Friday we had a storewide sale which included everything, there was some great bargains picked up on the day. There was also cake, although my cake making and decorating skills need a bit more practice i would describe the result as a favourite saying of mine ‘Good from far, but far from good’

Insideout Clothing is celebrating their 5^th birthday and Ican hardly believe where the time has gone. “I have a photo of the first day I opened the door as Insideout Clothing and it feels like just yesterday”. And in 5 years there has been lots happening since purchasing the business. ‘When I bought the shop it was called South Gippsland Clothing Co, but after being operated by Vikki Anderson for 25 years it had affectionately become known as ‘Vikki’s’ over time. I always had intentions of change but I was conscious of keeping the ethics of the store the same as what it had been over its long history which had been providing a large range of fashion for just about everyone. I felt that to put my own flair on the store it needed a face lift and so after many hours of brainstorming I came up with the name Insideout Clothing just weeks prior to opening the shop. When the name came to me I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t thought of it sooner.

 Over the last 5 years other than the name change we have introduced several new brands including Yarra Trail and Black Pepper, held increasingly popular Fashion Parades, raised money for Children’s Medical Research by towing a car with a pair of Jeans, held many great sales and our window displays at Christmas time have become a talking point in town for December. There is always something going on at Insideout, we never rest!!

They  are always on the look out for new products. Just recently we introduced the Snug as a Bug baby wraps which are fleece wraps that allow babies to be wrapped up cosy and warm whilst having their legs free to be belted into prams and car seats. As a new mummyself I have found these great when leaving my warm house to get something quickly from the shops I can take Cody out without having to find a whole new outfit and the built in hood has been great to keep the rain off when getting him in and out of the car. 

To celebrate our 5^th birthday we will have lots going on. Thursday 30^th June is our birthday and we will be giving things away all day including products and gift vouchers and every purchase made on the day will go into the draw to win the major prize where the winner will be able to choose any two items in the store for free. This would be a great opportunity for someone to get a new pair of jeans for instance at no cost!
